Building your dream home is exciting—but if you’ve never done it before, it can also feel overwhelming. At Rainey Homes, we believe that clarity brings confidence. That’s why we walk our clients through every step of the building process, from the moment you sign a contract to the day we hand you the keys.

Here’s what to expect when building with Rainey Homes:

🛠 1. Under Contract

Once you choose your homesite and floor plan, we sign the paperwork and officially start the journey. This is when your vision begins to take shape.

🎨 2. Design Center Appointment (30-60 Days Post-Contract)

Our award-winning designers guide you through selecting finishes—think flooring, cabinetry, lighting, and countertops. Bring inspiration photos and your Pinterest boards!

📐 3. Pre-Construction Meeting

You’ll meet with your superintendent to review all structural changes and final plans. This ensures that we’re aligned on every detail before we break ground.

🧱 4. Framing & 4-Way Walkthrough

Once framing, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical are complete, we’ll walk the home together to confirm that everything is in place before drywall goes up.

🧑‍🎨 5. Interior Finishes Begin

Now the magic starts—tile, paint, cabinets, and trim come together to transform the house into your home.

📦 6. Cabinets Installed = 45–60 Days to Finish

Cabinet installation signals the home stretch! At this point, we’ll guide you through next steps and begin prepping for final inspections and closing.

🔑 7. Closing Day

Once the home passes inspections and financing is complete, you’ll sign documents and receive your keys. Welcome to your new Rainey Home!
